A Burial At Sea
Maritime Funeral Services is a small, family-owned operation that provides a caring, respectful and dignified delivery of the ashes of loved ones to the sea. We are NOT a large volume
operation that processes thousands of ashes over the course of year. We ARE a small company that provides individualized and personal services. We are usually at sea two or more days every week simply
because we love being on the ocean. Weather and sea conditions permitting, we are usually able to accommodate a request within 30 days. 
A Burial At Sea provides a beautiful 8 ½" X 11" burial certificate recording date, latitude and longitude of the service. This information is
recorded so that families may return for memorial services. The certificate includes the Captain's and witness's signatures and is suitable for framing.
The areas that we travel to for the service are off the coast of Rhode Island. On a clear day, the areas are visible from different lighthouse
locations that are accessible all year. Many families like to come back to these lighthouse locations to visit with their loved ones from shore.
The Captain records key information and files all required reports with government agencies.
